Who is your favorite character from Tokyo Revengers, and why?

Draken.

While Mikey is the face of the show, Draken is the heart of it all. The best moments in the manga so far aren't about Takemitchy's developing bond with Mikey, it's about seeing more of the already pre—existing bond between Draken and Mikey.

What I like about the manga is that it simply doesn't inject Takemitchi into the story as this super trusted confidant who becomes Mikey's best friend right off the bat because he “finds him interesting”. That would be bad writing. Instead, Takemitchi is merely someone Mikey acknowledges as being “cool". Their “friendship" isn't much for the major part of the story and a personal connection has only started to form between them as of now.

For the most part of the manga, it's Draken who fills that spot. He's Mikey's moral compass. He's not afraid to punch the shit out of Mikey whenever he feels like he's being an ass. Without Draken to channel his darkness, Mikey is just a violent and destructive delinquent. But with him around, Mikey is a capable leader with the potential to change the fate of the entire country. For all of his strength, Mikey is still very much a child with a tragic past. Draken while also technically only a teenager is a lot more mature and composed. He grounds Mikey.

Like early on in the manga, where he forces Mikey to bow and apologize to the parents of a girl raped by a rival gang to theirs. It's not directly their fault that it happened, but sometimes people just need something to blame. Draken takes on that darkness.

There's also the fact that he's badass. This is still one of the coolest moments in the manga. Taiju prepares a group of 100 Black Dragons in order to beat Mikey up. He's confident he will have the last laugh as his gang takes revenge for him. They open the doors of the Church and poof. Draken has solo'd them all.

But it's his softer moments that make him my favorite character in the series. Without Draken, every eventual future in Revengers will forever be bleak.

The best character in Tokyo Revengers.

What anime’s are similar to Tokyo revengers?

Tokyo Revengers is basically a copy of “Erased” …..

“Erased” has better characters , better character designs , better story , more serious story and time travel ……

And most important thing is , the main protagonist is not a stupid , idiot like Takemichi …..

And the character designs of Tokyo Revengers look so ugly ……

like look at hina

I’m telling you guys its the popular trope where the girl actually turns out to be a boy ….

I mean look at her ….. this , this , this is the main heroine

Now, look at Kayo from Erased

Yaa its a 10 yr old girl because the main protagonist traveled back in time when he was 10 yrs old and met Kayo who was going to die that year….

But her character design still looks better than hina

Now, its time to compare the official posters of the anime

Is there anything In the poster its just fucking characters and nothing else , the two characters at the top right is not even that important in the anime …. i mean they barely have any fucking screentime …

i mean even the poster of “Re:Life”( which is a great anime by the way) was better than this

Now, let’s look at the poster of Erased

can you see the dark theme which blends in with the romantic theme & the main protagonist being determined to save the main heroine

THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A POSTER……

Now let’s talk about the main protagonist of the two series [LOOK I WILL TRY TO BE NICE NOW]

Takemichi was an individual who has lost his sense of direction. Thus, he had low self esteem, always apologizing for even the smallest things and easily crying. As noted by those around him and even himself, all he is good for is apologizing. He also holds a grudge towards wealthy people because he himself is not very financially stable. [6]

However, going back in time again and again gradually molds Takemichi into a completely different person. Slowly, he turns from a coward into a man with unshakeable conviction. Even facing insurmountable odds, he refuses to back down. He becomes the one who holds Toman together through their hardships and turns into its unofficial leader, guiding even Mikey and Draken onto the right paths. During even Toman's lowest points, it is Takemichi's unyielding spirit that pushes on his fellow companions.

Takemichi's unwavering spirit to protect his friends.

Takemichi is completely loyal to those he considers his friends and fiercely protective of them. He is willing to risk his very life to ensure that they are safe and sound. This loyalty spurs on his determination to create a better future for the ones he cares about. This is shown through his countless leaps back in time to change the gruesome outcome of his loved ones.

In a fight, Takemichi has never backed down. He is more willing to be beaten within an inch of his life than to admit defeat. This has become a huge source of inspiration for Toman's members and has proven instrumental even against all odds.

Takemichi is noted to be very similar in personality with Shinichiro Sano, with Draken pointing out both are "weak to women, weak at fights, but reliable". Due to being an adult, Takemichi tends to address others more politely.

Takemichi has horrible hygiene and habits. He neglects cleaning his room and has become accustomed to its disgusting state.

POST TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST ( AGE 14 YRS)

PRE-TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST ( AGE MORE THAN 25)

Let’s talk about Satoru from Erased

Satoru is an introvert and shy person who sees it as a lack of communication skills on his part, often pretending to get along with people in order to maintain healthy relationships since his youth, as he had trouble understanding someone's emotions. While eventually overcoming this dilemma, he was unwilling to accept his own flaws, such as being irritated by people's behaviors, having a bad tendency to think out loud and casually point at someone's mistakes. After the serial kidnappings, Satoru tried forgetting about the incidents to the point he blocked it from his memory. This also caused him to be afraid of self reflecting on himself and recalling his past, which stemmed from the guilt of not saving his friends and classmates when the chance presented itself, ultimately leading him to become a disillusioned adult. Following Sachiko Fujinuma's (Satoru's mother) murder, Satoru is sent to the past with determination to fix his mistakes, which forced him into uncomfortable situations. Despite this, when a rerun occurs Satoru nosiness gets the better of him and he always goes to help the person in need, showing he is truly and deeply compassionate. Satoru is caring towards his friends and slowly opens up to and trusts them. He can be easily embarrassed and annoyed, but he is truly kind at heart and Sachiko described his way of living as "grabbing the bull by the horns". After managing to change the past, Satoru becomes more lively and outgoing.

After time travel (Age:10–11)

Before time travel (Age-29)

Satoru is way more smarter than Takemitchi because he saved Kayo (Main heroine) within 6 episodes and he did all the work , whereas in case of Takemitchi everything was luck ( meeting with Mikey to meeting with Chifuyu ) , even the first Villain which was Kisaki had become a villain because he was jealous that Hina was impressed by Takemitchi ….. and

Kisaki was a Psychopath and the main villain of Erased was also a Psychopath and Erased came out in 2016 so ………

You know TR is a copy of ERASED which was not even copied correctly…..

Who's your least favorite character in Tokyo Revengers?

Although, Kisaki is a very well written character.

If you think Kisaki is annoying, then you must say the writer did an amazing job writing him.

I know it’s a good thing that Kisaki gets a lot of hate though.

I despise Kisaki because he’s clearly the definition of selfish, cold hearted manipulator, and a bitch.

Those three things can describe Kisaki.

The biggest reason of why I hate Kisaki is because he killed hundreds just because some girl rejected him.

I blame him but at the same time I kinda don’t. Hina is the definition of perfect.

But to go that far and kill hundreds?

Like honestly bruh that’s just wrong.

Hina rejected him and he wants to be the number one delinquent in Japan and ask Hina to marry him again and she’d say yes.

Are you that dumb? Do you seriously think Hina is gonna marry you after killing hundreds/thousands just because you’re the number one delinquent? You literally started wars, manipulated thousands of people, and deceived hundreds.

Life isn’t gonna always be your way.

I lowkey respect him though because he actually had a goal and sticked to it.

Kisaki would one billion percent be the number one in Japan but only if Takemichy couldn’t time skip.

Keep in mind, Kisaki isn’t strong. He’s on the same level as Takemichy.

Even though that’s the case, he made a top leader captain of Moebius, Osanai who was stronger than a Toman OG member, scared of even hearing or seeing him. He made him retire literally.

Kisaki made his life into hell.

Just because Hina said no.

He would ruin people’s lives just for someone to finally accept him.

He joined gang violence which is very life threatening for Hina.

Hina is over you, find another girl.

It doesn’t matter anyways because at the end of the day, he lost.

Even if he became the number one delinquent in Japan, he still would of lost.

Hina would still of said no. She has Takemichi now. She never liked you. She only liked you as a friend.

So yes, the true hero is Takemichi Hanagaki and Naoto Tachibana.

(btw let’s hope this final arc isn’t gonna be trash)
